RULE No. 1: ‘Try to stay one step ahead of the most rapidly developing technologies!!!’
The goal is to select the most relevant and promising technology/specialisation of today and the near future.
Solution – specialisation in “Intelligent Data Analysis in Computer Information Systems” or, in other words, “Programming Web-Oriented Artificial Intelligence Systems” (launched in 2016).

How can this be achieved????? There is RULE No. 2 for this purpose
RULE 2: ‘Stay up to date with the latest news, needs, vacancies and trends in the IT world!!!’
The goal is for the department that trains IT specialists to have broad access to the latest news in the world of IT technologies in Ukraine and worldwide.
Solution – the department is the centre of the Bukovina/Chernivtsi IT cluster (Cluster bit association), which includes a list of IT companies in the region and is, in turn, a member of the IT Association of Ukraine. Watch us on YouTube .

RULE No. 3: “From words to action”!!!RULE No. 3: “From words to action”!!!
The goal is to create an educational and professional programme/curriculum that best meets the current needs of the industry.
Solution: An educational and professional programme was created that incorporated the wishes of most of the department’s partner companies and defined a list of disciplines to be studied in order to unify knowledge of classical and web programming with neural network programming and artificial intelligence technologies.
RULE No. 4: “Project-based learning as a guarantee of effectiveness”!!!
The goal is to create an effective system for acquiring knowledge and skills.
Solution – since 2017, project-based learning has been practised, during which students are divided into groups, each of which has a project manager, developers, etc. This simulates and prepares you for working in companies on real projects as much as possible. Practitioners from the IT industry are involved in the training. Some of the department’s lecturers are employees of IT companies.

RULE No. 5: “R&D or science is the key to successful learning”!!!
The goal is for scientific research in the field of IT and artificial intelligence and cooperation with the IT industry to become the basis for education.
Solution – Teachers should not be mere transmitters of knowledge and skills, but creators of them! No one can explain information better than the person who created it.

RULE No. 6: ‘English is the language of communication in IT’!!!
The goal is to create the most favourable conditions for learning English.
Solution – Professional English language courses are taught in every year: from the first to the fifth. Classes in professional disciplines are conducted in English. Teachers have the appropriate language certificates.
English language = Necessity!!!
