The specialisation in ‘Intelligent Data Analysis in Computer Information Systems’ aims to train specialists who are proficient in modern methods and technologies for searching, structuring, analysing and visualising data, primarily in the development of web-oriented systems with elements of artificial intelligence (web-oriented intelligent systems).

The aim of training in this specialisation is to master modern methods of machine learning, computational intelligence and the development of multi-agent systems, the basics of building various types of recommendation systems, and the skills and abilities to process large data sets based on distributed and cloud computing technologies.

The professional activities of graduates are related to the implementation of algorithms and methods for processing various types of data, in particular, in the context of text, signal and image analysis tasks, etc.

Calculation of competitive score for admission based on PZSO and NRK5 according to the results of the 2025 NMT

where:
P1, P2, P3, P4 – scores from the first, second, third, and fourth subjects of the NMT 2025;
TK – score of the creative competition (in cases provided for by this Procedure);
OU – points for successfully completing preparatory courses of a higher education institution in the year of admission, rated on a scale from 0 to 10 points, in the case of applying to specialties (specializations, subject specialties) specified in the List of specialties that receive special support.
Subject coefficients K1, K2, K3, K4 for the scores of subjects for each specialty (specialization, subject specialty), and the coefficient KT for the score of the creative competition.
K4max – the maximum value of the subject coefficient for the elective subject of the NMT 2025 for the relevant specialty (specialization, subject specialty).
For individuals applying under the conditions specified by Order No. 271, P1, P2, P3, P4 are the scores from the first (Ukrainian language), second (mathematics), third (history of Ukraine), and fourth (a foreign language, or biology, or physics, or chemistry, or geography, at the applicant’s choice) subjects.

ОУ – score awarded for the successful completion, in the year of admission, of preparatory courses at a higher education institution for admission to that same institution, on a scale from 0 to 10 points, in the case of admission to specialties (specializations, subject specialties) listed in the List of specialties receiving special support.
Subject coefficients К1, К2, К3, К4 are the weighting factors for subject scores for each specialty (specialization, subject specialty), and coefficient КТ is the weighting factor for the score of the creative competition (in cases provided for by this Procedure).

ТК – score of the creative competition (in cases provided for by this Procedure);
ОУ – score awarded for the successful completion, in the year of admission, of preparatory courses at a higher education institution for admission to that same institution, on a scale from 0 to 10 points, in the case of applying to specialties (specializations, subject specialties) listed in the List of specialties receiving special support.
Subject coefficients К1, К2, К3 refer to the weighting of subject scores for each specialty (specialization, subject specialty), and coefficient КТ refers to the weighting of the creative competition score (in cases provided for by this Procedure).

ADMISSION TO MASTER’S PROGRAMME

Formula for calculating the competition score

The following formula will be used for competitive selection for master’s degree programmes:

where: P1 – EIT general academic competence test score, P2 – EIT foreign language test score, P3 – EIT score or professional exam score in cases provided for in this Procedure.

The single entrance exam is a form of entrance examination for admission to all specialities based on a bachelor’s or master’s degree (educational and qualification level of a specialist).

This test consists of two parts: a general academic competence test (GACT) and a foreign language test (English, German, French, or Spanish, at the applicant’s choice). The entrance exam is conducted by the Ukrainian Centre for Educational Quality Assessment.

The General Academic Competence Test Block (GACT) consists of 33 tasks.
The test includes two components:
Verbal and Communicative – 18 tasks
Logical and Analytical – 15 tasks
The test includes tasks of two formats:
– 10 tasks involving filling in blanks in microtexts
– 23 multiple-choice tasks with one correct answer

All tasks are designed in accordance with the General Academic Competence Test Program.
Applicants have 75 minutes to complete this block.
The maximum score for this section is 33 points.
The Foreign Language Block consists of two parts – Reading and Language Use – and includes 30 tasks:
– 06 matching tasks (e.g., matching headings to texts or parts of texts; statements/situations to announcements/texts; questions to answers or answers to questions)
– 05 multiple-choice tasks with one correct answer out of four options
– 19 cloze tasks (filling in the blanks in a text by selecting appropriate words or phrases from the given options)

The Unified Professional Entrance Examination assesses the applicant’s readiness to pursue a master’s degree program. This examination is also administered by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.
According to the specifications, each subject-based test of the Unified Professional Entrance Examination will contain 140 tasks.
It is expected that the time required for solving each task should not exceed 1 minute 20 seconds. In the case of multi-step calculations, a maximum of two steps is allowed, without any rounding applied.
For each correct answer, the test-taker will receive 1 point, meaning the maximum score is 140 points.
Applicants will have 180 minutes to complete all subject-based tests.
