Dormitory

Members of the student council actively and constantly deal with issues related to the dormitory, student accommodation in the dormitory, and making their stay in the dormitory more comfortable. The dean keeps track of all issues related to living conditions in the dormitory. The living conditions of students in the dormitory are improving.

The students of the faculty and the dean’s office renovated the ‘Svitlytsia’ and the corridor of the dormitory, purchased rugs for the corridors and kitchen. An ironing room and a study room were organised and equipped. This partially solves the problem of where students can study. There are plans to purchase a soft corner for the recreation room. Last year, one of the rooms belonging to students of our faculty won the competition for the best dormitory and the best dormitory room.

Of course, there remains the problem of providing all non-resident students with dormitory accommodation and the problem of overcrowding in rooms, but this is not just a faculty problem, but a university-wide problem. We try to provide most first-year students with accommodation in dormitories whenever possible.
