Having in mind the importance of fostering the process of internationalisation of academic and research institutions in Poland and our partner countries, we would like to present you chosen programmes of Polish National Agency for International Exchange (NAWA). In order to internationalise higher education and research NAWA offers programmes directed to Polish and foreign institutions, scientists and students.
The Banach Scholarship Programme is directed to foreign students who are citizens of one of the following countries: Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Montenegro, Ethiopia, Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
It offers the scholarship for full-time second-cycle studies conducted in Polish or in English at the universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science in the field of engineering and technical sciences, agricultural sciences as well as natural sciences.
For the citizens of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan the Programme offers opportunity to complete second-cycle studies also in the field of humanities and social sciences, with the exception of philological studies in the field of the mother tongue of the beneficiary’s country of origin.
The call for proposals shall be conducted till 31st of March 2023.

For both, students and scientists, NAWA also implements programmes of academic exchange as part of bilateral agreements and bilateral cooperation with, among others, the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium Wallonia, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Israel, Japan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Mexico, Mongolia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, Ukraine, Hungary, Vietnam, Italy. The visits under the Programme may last from 3 days to 12 months in a given academic year – depending on the provisions of the agreement on a basis of which cooperation is executed.
